How to chip away at the empire?
There are so many ways.
It’s not just a matter of going from A to B. It’s more like going from A to Z. There are so many heads of Hydra that have to be chopped off.
But as with the Greek myth, there is one immortal head that has to be taken off: the ideology of the state. So long as a majority of people believe that peace and prosperity can be achieved through the use of the government, at whatever level, whether federal, state or local, we will be swamped by rules and regulations that suffocate us at home and make us ogres abroad.
