The Most Powerful and Revered Man in Iraq Never Speaks to Americans
The most powerful man in Iraq is responsible for Iraq’s brand of democracy. He does not, however, belong to any political party. Though he can influence millions of Iraqis political, social, economic, and spiritual preferences and desires, he never carries a weapon, other than the Quran.
